Cruciform postures and habits of community life are what the church adopts now as it awaits the fullness of resurrection in the future. God poured out resurrection upon the singular person Jesus by his cruciform self-expenditure and love for others driven by obedience to the Father. This sort of joyful community life, therefore, sets the pattern for how the church awaits the future resurrection.
